Beautiful Glittered Christmas Ornaments

These glittered ornaments are so fun and easy to make! With just a few supplies you can have a beautiful, inexpensive gift to give to friends, teachers, or even a girl scout leader! You can put them in a gift bag, or package them in a box filled with kraft paper, either way, looks great!
I made a big batch last year and put them all over my Christmas tree, I love how they reflect the light and sparkle.

Items needed:

  • Plastic or glass ornaments. I found mine at the Dollar Tree
  • Fine Glitter– You can find it anywhere, this is the brand I used
  • Minwax Polycrylic
  • Plastic squirt bottle
  • Paper cups, or something your ornament can drain into
  • Funnel or something to help pour your glitter into your ornament
  • Red and White Bakers Twine
  • Star hole punch
  • White card stock
  • Cricut cutting machine– I have the Explore Air 2
  • Kraft tan crinkle filler paper
  • Tan gift boxes

Using the Print then Cut feature on your Cricut

Let’s glitter those ornaments!

These glittered ornaments look great packaged in a simple brown box with kraft paper filling. Add a decorative bow to the top and you have a gift that anyone would love.

Happy Crafting!

About the Designer

Hi and welcome to my little spot on the web!
My name is Tracy and I've been crafting for 30+ years!

Years ago I had a little online store and did craft shows with a fantastic friend, her name is also Tracy~ our business was called Tracy's This-n-That.
I painted, did some sewing and stitcheries~ I even designed patterns and mailed them out (yes, mailed them with a stamp!) can you imagine!

Life got busy, the kids got busy...and that little gig got put on hold.
Fast forward many years later and here I am again- doing what I've always loved doing, but this time I'm designing digital files too! Dreams really do come true!

I'd say my style is whimsical mixed with cute, sarcastic and rusty/primitive. Haha, I guess I just like whatever catches my eye!
I love old rustic "junk" as my husband calls it, seems the more weathered and rusty the better!

I'm so glad you stopped by~ I hope to share my years of crafting experiences with you and lots of digital designs!
I can't wait to craft with you!
