A list of things found in a garden.
For this week’s Free SVG, I wrote down a list of things you might find in the garden. There are so many words to describe a garden and the gardening process! I had to decide if I wanted this week’s design to include fruits and vegetables or was it to have more of a flower garden theme. I narrowed it down and decided on a flower garden design. So, this week’s free SVG is all about things found in a flower garden, from flowers and ladybugs to flying bumblebees and worms.
I love combining words to make Subway Art, and I think this one is my favorite of the Subway Art SVG files I’ve created! You can use this week’s freebie to make something for yourself or make a gift for the gardener who has everything.
Make a Tote Bag for your Gardening Supplies

How fun is this!? Wouldn’t this design be adorable on a bag? If you have been around me for a while, you know how much I love tote bags! Some people love shoes and purses; I go for tote bags! You could make a bag like this with heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or use it as a print file with printable vinyl or your sublimation printer! Add a name and make it a personalized gift for your favorite gardener. If you are using Cricut Design Space, I have a tutorial below showing how to easily ungroup and attach your design to make it easier for cutting your vinyl.
What’s that font?
Sunshine –Family
Water –MacGuffin Jumble
Watering Can –Girl Llama
Ladybug –Benalla
Bloom –Brosia
Worms –Little Groovy
Weeds –Pickled Limes
Flowers –Choco Cookies

Cricut Design Space Tutorial for your Free Garden SVG
This short video will show you how to ungroup and attach elements from your free SVG file in Design Space. By attaching design elements, the cutting process is faster, and it also makes adding the design to your finished project easier. However, this cut file has a few design elements that will work better if they are not attached. Check out the video below to see what will work best with this design.
Greyscale Option
When you download this week’s free cut file, you will find two design options. The colorful design you see above and the greyscale design you see here. I have also included this as a cuttable file for those who may want to move, add, or delete elements. I love this style of greyscale t-shirt designs, so I thought it would be fun to include it as another option for a cute summer shirt!

This is how your greyscale design will look on your canvas in Design Space

What kind of Gardener are You?
Do you have just enough room for a small flower garden or tend a big outdoor space? Do you only plant flowers, or do you plant fruits and vegetables too? Or, are you like me and just benefit from those that do the gardening? The smells of fresh flowers are amazing, and to me, there is no comparison to the taste of fresh garden vegetables. However, while I enjoy those things, I have never had a green thumb or any desire to learn how to make them green! So I guess crafting a pretty flower garden design is the right path for my gardening journey. If that describes you too, you can use this week’s free file to make something for the garden lover in your life. Maybe as a thank you for providing you with all the fresh goodies?
Make a Summer Garden Flag or Sign
There are so many options with this week’s garden theme design. For example, you could make a personalized summer garden flag! Or how about making a sign using the reverse canvas technique? If you’ve never tried the reverse canvas technique, you can see how it’s done in this tutorial I made using one of the designs from the free SVG bundle of sassy sayings. Whatever you decide to make, I’d love to see it! Be sure to come to our Facebook Group and show it off!
